I have quite a few things to say, and I don’t know which should go first.
First, it should be obvious that my NET UNCAPPED because I managed to watch the new GLEE episode, Power of Madonna, S1E15.
I wrote down some of my favorite quotes from it, one of my favorites was:
Rachel: “Hey guys, can I ask you something?”
Santana (without missing a beat): “Yes, you should move to Israel.”
Now, the picture would have looked so much better if I took it with a digital camera, but I had to do this while my parents were out at a house inspection, and I knew I had maybe a 15 minute gap to do it, so I basically ran to the kitchen, found a box of matches (let me tell you now, kids, that was one of the most dangerous ideas I’ve ever had. Seriously. Do NOT play with matches), took the laptop to my MOM’S BEDROOM (I WAS PLAYING WITH FIRE WHILE SKATING ON THIN ICE WHILE HOLDING MY BABY UP TO A CROCODILE) and then put the laptop on my Mom’s BED, kneeled next to the bed (symbolistic, no?) and then LIT THE MATCH AND TRIED TO TAKE PICTURES. YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW FUCKING TERRIFIED I WAS!
Where did I get the concept from? It was from the party that Katherine went to last night, where she (told me about how she) strung up lights in a hall and did a sort of re-enactment of Lights Surrounding You MV, by Evermore. I don’t have Christmas lights, so I…got matches. Okay, no really, I cannot stress how many times how stupid stupid stupid the idea was, and I was really lucky I did not burn mom’s bed to the wooden floor, and then burned my house down.
I’m currently in hunting for “Like A Prayer”, the original by Madonna. I have the Glee versions.
So, message for today?
DO NOT PLAY WITH FIRE! ESPECIALLY NOT NEXT TO YOUR MOTHER’S BED!
